Fulham vs Reading
Saturday 14th July, 1.30pm
Pre-season friendly
Electrical Services Stadium, Aldershot

It's probably fair to say that Reading and Fulham have shared some tight encounters in recent seasons, but the Whites earned promotion to the Premier League via the Play-Offs two months ago.

This will be the Royals' first chance to test themselves against top tier opposition in pre-season, with the Whites strengthening their squad to compete in the Premier League next season.

The recent arrival of Nice pair Jean Michaël Seri and Maxime Le Marchand is a statement of intent from Slaviša Jokanović, having reportedly beaten Chelsea and Arsenal for Seri's signature.

Reading manager Paul Clement said that his squad will start to increase the number of minutes they play as preparation for 2018-19 continues, this time at Aldershot Town's Electrical Services Stadium in another lunchtime kick-off.

It could be the first chance for Reading fans to see new striker, Marc McNulty in action after his arrival from Coventry City last week.

Following Saturday's match, the first team squad will then be heading out to Austria for the club's pre-season tour, with two friendlies and plenty of tough training sessions awaiting them on their week-long trip.

Remaining tickets are expected to be available on the day at the Electrical Service Stadium. A limited allocation of seats were made available earlier in the week, but standing tickets are also on sale.

Aldershot have confirmed that Reading supporters will be admitted to the stadium via Redan Hill (turnstiles 11 and 12) and there will be tickets available to purchase there also.
