Scott Marshall's side will be playing in three enticing fixtures against Sparta Prague, Feyenoord and Leicester City in this season's competition, as they look to qualify from the group stages.

The Premier League International Cup pits 16 Premier League 2 teams against a further 16 clubs from across Europe, with the very best youth talent fighting for the trophy.

Last season saw the young Royals play in three extremely close matches against youth sides from Bayern Munich, Porto and Arsenal, in what was a valuable experience for our young players.

This will be another fantastic chance for our Academy to show their quality against some of the finest youth players in Europe, in what will be their third season in the competition.

With other European giants such as Paris Saint-Germain, Benfica and PSV Eindhoven in the draw, it will certainly be another interesting tournament ahead!

Details of when and where the fixtures will take place will be announced in due course.
