The John Madejski Academy squad have recorded their second league title in three years - following a 23-game unbeaten run in league and cup!
The team, based in the National Youth Football League Southern Premier Division, is partnered with Reading FC and based in the local area.
The JMA was set up to provide both footballing and educational development in the Reading area, with the squad competing against other similar Premier League and Football League programmes from around the country.

Young Royals Ramarni Medford-Smith and Khalid Simmo were both signed by the club from the JMA, and they hope to provide more players to sign for our Academy in the coming seasons.
It's not over yet for the squad this season, though, with their first ever appearance in the National Cup final coming up on Wednesday 23rd May at Selhurst Park, where they'll take on Crystal Palace for the trophy - which supporters will be able to attend to back the team on the day.
They go into the match off the back of the Development squad winning the Berks and Bucks Schools Cup earlier in the season, under the tutelage of 19-year-old coach and former JMA student, Ben Cook.
The JMA have continued to progress this season, with a number of youngsters accepting football scholarships over in America, as well as several others earning places at UK universities through their academic studies.
