Reading vs Ipswich Town
Saturday 10th November
3pm kick-off
Madejski Stadium
Sky Bet Championship

The Royals take on Ipswich Town this weekend at Madejski Stadium, with the visitors currently sat at the bottom of the Championship table after one win in their opening 16 matches this term.

There is a new man in the dugout for Town as well, with Paul Lambert taking charge of his second match as Ipswich manager - after replacing Paul Hurst a fortnight ago.

Despite winning only one match so far this season, Ipswich have picked up seven draws along the way to keep themselves in touch with the rest of the division and hopeful of climbing out of the relegation places in the coming weeks.

Lambert and Ipswich picked up a point against Preston North End last time out, with Freddie Sears' penalty cancelled out by Paul Gallagher's free-kick for the Lilywhites. The new Ipswich boss will be fighting for his first win at his new club with the visit to Madejski Stadium at the weekend.

A fourth home win in five matches for the Royals could take them out of the bottom three themselves, with the Championship standings looking as competitive as ever with a third of the season gone.

Royals manager, Paul Clement has confirmed that striker Jón Daði Böðvarsson is out with a back injury, while he is waiting on the fitness of Yakou Méïté - who came off with a knock in the first half against Bristol City last weekend.

Remembrance 2018

We encourage supporters of both the Royals and Ipswich to be in their seats early for Saturday's game, in time to observe a minute's silence prior to kick-off. Please note that the turnstiles will be temporarily closing once the Remembrance Weekend activities are underway on the pitch - and will re-open before kick-off.

Click here to see the full itinerary for Remembrance ahead of Saturday's game. Poppy sellers will be based all around the ground for the Royal British Legion as well, so please donate what you can for a worthy cause.

Also, as we mark 100 years since the Armistice agreement was signed, a special edition issue of The Royal will be available around Madejski Stadium - taking a look at every Reading player to have given their lives in service during the First World War, alongside your usual pre-match information.

A commemorative coin, issued by the Royal British Legion, will be used for the pre-match coin toss and Reading players will be wearing poppies on their shirts - which will be auctioned for charity in the days following the game.

Adult tickets start from only £20 at Madejski Stadium for Members, so make sure you're here to back the boys on Saturday!
