FULL-TIME | Reading 2-2 Ipswich Town

Meite strikes twice as the Royals come from behind to get a draw against the Tractor Boys.

Lovely cross-field pass by McNulty finds McCleary on the run - he picks out Baldock but he strikes over.

A ball played into McCleary's path but his shot is deflected away...

Into the first of four added minutes, with the scores tied up at 2-2...

Chance for Baldock... narrowly over!

Great link-up between Swift and McCleary down the right and a ball cut back sits up - lashed over.

Jordan Spence shown a yellow - late challenge on Barrow on Reading's left flank.

GOOOAAAAALLL! 2-2 - it's Yakou Meite again!

Bacuna drifts a delightful ball over the top of the defence for Meite to run onto... he glances past Bialkowski and Reading are level again!

And a final Reading change.  On comes Marc McNulty, replacing Liam Kelly.

Second change for Ipswich - Sears off, Rowe on.

Mo Barrow has a shot kept out.

John Swift comes on for the Royals, replacing John O'Shea.  An attacking change with Reading still trailing by a goal.

Well saved by Jaakkola as Spence strikes from a narrow angle in a crowded box.

Bit of a break in play as Cole Skuse is in need of treatment.

Nothing that will keep him from playing on though.  Midway through the second period and Reading still 2-1 behind.

Good chance for the leveller but it's snaffled away!

Barrow's low cross came through to Meite, who tried to cushion into the path of Baldock, but his touch is too soft and it's hooked away before the striker can get there.

First change for Ipswich - on comes Kayden Jackson, replacing Jordan Roberts.

Lovely incisive ball by McCleary, who has been in the thick of it since coming on, looking for Meite on the run.  But Ipswich skipper Chambers is alert to the situation and hooks away before Meite can get there.

Incredible save by Bialkowski to deny Mo Barrow inside the six-yard box.

Bacuna's corner is initially won by Moore, and then Meite rises highest to make the next contact... it's into Barrow's path on the far side by the Polish stopper scampers across to block out.

Meite is a matter of inches offside as Kelly looks to release him with an early ball.  The Tractor Boys' defence had pushed right up and the Royals forward would have been clean through on goal.

Neither team with much luck in front of goal so far this half.  Sears had a good chance to cross early after the interval but it was cut out low, and Bacuna's ball down the channel for Meite was also just out of reach.

Mo Barrow gets the ball rolling in the second period.

Come on URZ!

Sub at half-time - off comes Andy Rinomhota, on comes Garath McCleary.

The teams emerge from the tunnel ahead of the second half.

Sam Baldock in action in the first half.

HALF-TIME | Reading 1-2 Ipswich Town

The visitors lead at the break - Edwards got their noses in front before a cracking Meite leveller, but Sears put them in front for a second time.

The ref stops play because of a clash of heads - Mo Barrow and Jordan Spence challenge for the ball but bump into each other.

Booking for Ipswich skipper Luke Chambers - Meite tries to roll him as he receives on half-way, but the defender has a handful of his shirt and breaks up the counter attack.

Reading work the ball downfield neatly and Mo Barrow has a chance to run at the full-back - but Jordan Spence defends the situation well and eventually wins a free-kick near his own corner-flag.

Bacuna holds of Chalobah in the midfield.

Jaakkola produces another save to deny Roberts.  Played in down the right, he checks onto his left foot and curls towards the far corner, but the Finn makes a good stop.

Meite has a chance for another equaliser but can't beat the goalie under pressure as he gets on the end of Barrow's cross.

He was tussling in the box but the referee wasn't interested in any penalty claims against the Ipswich defence.

Wonderful save by Jaakkola to deny Roberts a third goal for the visitors.

Downes did well to pinch a 50-50 ball and put it into a good area - Roberts' flicked header is just about turned around the post by the fingertips of Jaakkola.

More defending for the Royals to do as a ball is slotted down the right flank - a cross comes in and Yiadom doesn't take any risks.  Heads behind for a corner.

Bit of a let-off for Ipswich stopper Bialkowski, whose low pass on the floor skims about a foot past Liam Kelly - it'd have been a free hit for our midfielder inside the opposition box.

First yellow card goes to Mo Barrow.

He gets into the area and goes to ground, claiming to have been fouled by Cole Skuse... the ref decides it's simulation and gives the free-kick the other way, and issues the first booking.

We trail again - Freddie Sears slots in for 2-1 to Ipswich.

It's a direct ball forward which is over the first line of defence and Sears anticipates well... he takes advantage of a split-second of indecision to pass it into the bottom corner.

GOAL! 1-1!  Instant reply and it's fabulous by Yakou Meite!

Terrific running into the channel by Sam Baldock, who crossed in from the left - and Meite unleashes a bicycle kick from close range, beating Bialkowski at his near post!

Goal - Ipswich take the lead through Gwion Edwards.

A long throw from Knudsen is cleared as far as the edge of the box - it sits kindly for him to strike first time, and it's through a crowd and into the bottom corner.  Ipswich lead 1-0.

Good defensive header early on from Liam Moore as the ball was put into the mixer - it's a wet, wet day at Madejski Stadium.

Bacuna had tried to trap the ball on halfway but it slipped away, allowing the Tractor Boys a chance to counter.
