Royals star Jordan Obita took time out from his injury recovery to lend his support to a young Royals fan showing a lot of bravery in rehabilitating from a serious accident.
The Royals left-back visited Harvey Greenaway on Wednesday afternoon at John Radcliffe Hospital's Neuroscience Rehabilitation Unit.
Back in May, Harvey sustained very serious brain injuries after he was involved in a car accident which resulted in him fighting for his life.
The club heard about Harvey's accident and have kept in touch with Harvey’s progress over the months since and thankfully Harvey is now fit enough to recieve a visit from his favourite player Jordan Obita.
Harvey is now walking and even kicking a football again and he was overjoyed to meet Jordan who he didn’t stop chatting about to his parents until well into the evening of the visit.
Jordan brought with him various gifts from Reading Football Club, including a signed pair of the left-back's boots.
We obviously wish Harvey all the very best with his future rehabilitation and hope to see him back at Madejski Stadium supporting the Royals very soon!
