Oliver Langford will be refereeing the Royals as they take on Wigan Athletic this weekend at the DW Stadium.
The West Midlands official has already overseen both teams this season - he took charge as the Royals played up at Blackburn back in August, while he also refereed Wigan's home win over Bristol City in September.
The referee has been an official that seems to keep his cards in his pocket more often than not, averaging just two cautions per match in 14 games in which he's been referee so far this season.
While he has been in charge of almost exclusively Championship matches this term, his only red card so far came as he oversaw a League Two encounter between Macclesfield and Grimsby early in the campaign.
Mr Langford will be assisted on the day by Adam Crysell and Nick Hopton, with Leigh Doughty overseeing the action between the benches as fourth official.
