Ahead of the game | Posing a danger to Rangers…

A preview of our midweek meeting

1 October 2018

After running out 3-0 winners in our most recent home fixture against Hull City last week, we’re aiming for back-to-back Madejski Stadium triumphs. Next up: Queens Park Rangers.

It’s back to RG2, under the floodlights, and a chance for three more points.  Just a point and a position divide the two teams in the Sky Bet Championship table… a win in midweek would boost ourselves above our visitors.

Rangers have one of the leakier defences of the division; 18 goals conceded so far.  And with the Royals in a decent goalscoring run, with nine goals in our previous four, let’s hope we can outscore our opponents on Tuesday!

The game comes just over six months since we appointed Paul Clement as manager – and QPR’s visit was our first fixture with the new man in charge.  We got the points that evening, and we’re hoping to repeat the feat.
