FULL-TIME | Reading 0-1 Queens Park Rangers

Toni Leistner's goal midway through the second half is enough to decide it in Rangers' favour.

It's a dipper by Swift but the goalkeeper is well placed, and saves comfortably.

Free-kick to the Royals, 25 yards out, left of centre.  Meite was the one chopped down.  Swift over the dead ball.

Four added minutes signalled by the fourth official.

Time running out for the Royals - QPR still lead by the odd goal.  All stoppages taking an age to restart.

Wonderful run by Yiadom, driving down the left touchline and cutting onto his right boot... his shot is blocked.  That could have been some goal.

Last change of the game - Cousins comes off for Wszolek for the visitors.

Meite wrestling for possession.

And QPR also make a change.  Eze off, Scowen on.

Third and final change for Reading - an attacking change.  Saeid Ezatolahi comes off for Marc McNulty.

Meite is inches past the post with a header... again a matter of inches.

It was Ilori, in support of the attack, who lofted in a lovely cross for the Ivorian to attack... Lumley was beaten but just wide!

Straight swap up front for QPR.  Tomer Hemed replaces Nahki Wells for their first change.

Meite strikes the post!  So close to the leveller...

Terrific play by Barrow to drive into the area and find the feet of Meite, who shot on the spin... strikes the meat of the upright and bounces to safety.

Booking for Josh Sims.

A misplaced pass by the winger, and he tries to win it back with a snappy challenge but ends up breaking up the counter with a foul.

Shouts for a penalty again... not given!

Quick pass by Swift to find Yiadom and he goes down, but not enough contact for the ref.

Second Royals booking, much the same as the first.  This time it's Saeid Ezatolahi who goes down in the area, and the ref again decides it's simulation from a Reading player.

Double sub for the Royals.

On come John Swift and Josh Sims, and off go Sone Aluko and Liam Kelly.

Goal - 1-0 to Queens Park Rangers.

A goalmouth scramble from a QPR corner, and eventually a deflected effort by the QPR captain nestles in.

Top stop by Walker, keeping out Cousins!

A corner causes chaos, and the half-clearance falls the way of the Rangers midfielder... a low drive is touched around the post at full stretch!

Nice link-up between Barrow and Yiadom on the left and a cross is just about cleared.  And then Aluko has a delivery mopped up.  Some good openings.

First booking of the game goes to Yakou Meite - and it's for simulation.  QPR skipper Leistner makes contact in the box but the ref feels the Royals man has exaggerated matters.

QPR were on the attack, but Ezatolahi got a toe in and set off a counter.  Bacuna drives forward, offloads to Aluko, but his cross is deflected behind. Plenty of Royals were forward in support of the attack.

That could have been a chance as Ezatolahi weights a great ball into the path of Meite... he strikes first time on the bounce but slices it high into the Eamonn Dolan Stand.

The game restarts - Liam Kelly gets the ball rolling for Reading.  No half-time changes.

The teams have emerged from the tunnel ahead of the second half.

HALF-TIME | Reading 0-0 Queens Park Rangers

No goals at the interval.

Wonderful save by Walker, diving low to his right to deny Wells!

Reading were enjoying a really good spell, but Eze was released on the breakaway and teed up the Bermudan for what looked a certain goal... until Walker pushed to safety!

Raw power by Meite, but he can't quite force the goal!

Ilori pops a ball into the channel and he outmuscles Lynch, but it's into the side netting from a tight angle.

Chance for the visitors - but not taken.  Freeman has been a dangerman in open play, and this time it's his free-kick which causes chaos as Leistner and Luongo attack the back stick.  Neither can apply a touch.

Liam Kelly in a midfield battle.

Decent play by the Royals, earning a half-chance.  Yiadom fires in a low pass for Kelly, who rounds a man with a neat first touch, but the pace is taken out of his shot with the deflection and Lumley gathers.

Ezatolahi rides a tackle in the centre circle and sets off Mo Barrow... in turn, the Gambian looks for the overlap of Yiadom.

Barrow's pass is cut out but falls for Ezatolahi, who swings his left boot at it - but the shot is high into the stands.

The two managers in conversation before the game.

Inches away from an own-goal as the ball strikes Ilori and flashes wide of Walker's post... just a corner!

Moore slipped as he attacked the cross and it caught out his centre-half partner and struck him on the thigh.  Close.

Cracking cross from Aluko, swinging in a cross from deep on the right and seeking out the run of Meite.

It had whip and dip and needed a firm defensive header to deny the Ivorian a great chance.

Two blocks in quick succession by Royals skipper Liam Moore, both times from Nahki Wells.  The first was a cross and then a shot as it broke to him.

No goals yet but Rangers looking the more dangerous at present.

Just over by Cousins for QPR!

A teaser of a cross by Bidwell, coming forward from left-back... a firm header, a yard over Walker's goal.

Massimo Luongo gets a talking-to - but nothing more - by referee Andy Davies.

A poor tackle through the back of Mo Barrow, who had cleared while back on defensive duty.

Aluko cuts in off the right and slides a ball into the path of Kelly, who cushions well as he glides into the area.  His shot is deflected though and and taken by Lumley, preventing the corner.

Great intervention by Tiago Ilori, with 30 seconds on the clock!  Needed a well-timed sliding challenge to keep out Eberechi Eze, who had ghosted into the area.  Just a corner.

Kick-off!  QPR get the game going.  We're shooting towards the South Stand.
