Paul Clement says the Royals are going to have to be at their best to bring points back with them from West Bromwich Albion this weekend.
Darren Moore's side are currently the top scorers in the Championship - with six more goals than any other team - and are lurking just a point off the top of the table.
After a disappointing result against Queens Park Rangers in midweek, Clement says his squad will have to be on their game at the weekend to gain more Championship points.
"It's another tough game, so we'll have to play a lot better than we did on Tuesday night if we're going to get any kind of a result up there," the Reading manager said.
"We went to a very difficult place last weekend and nearly came away with all three points, so we've got a bit of rebuilding to do but we'll certainly be ready for the kick-off on Saturday.
"There's no need for any big motivational talk for this one, the players have to be absolutely concentrated. In some of the biggest tests we've had this season, we've been at our best.
"West Brom were top going into the fixtures on Tuesday, they score a lot of goals and for me they're a Premier League quality team, with a lot of good players and a dangerous front two.
"They have a lot of confidence, a good stadium, it's a big test. We're going to have to play really well to get a good result."
