Date set for rearranged cup tie at Bracknell

County Cup game set for November 27th

31 October 2018

Our Under-23s’ Berks & Bucks FA Senior Cup tie away at Bracknell Town has now been rearranged to take place on Tuesday 27th November at Larges Lane, kicking off at 7.45pm.

Initially our cup fixture was scheduled to take place on Tuesday this week, but the hosts’ replay in the FA Trophy meant that our county cup tie had to be called off at short notice.

It is our first involvement in the competition since 2002 – and if we get past our near-neighbours in the Second Round in a few weeks time, we’ll be in the Quarter Final.  We were one of nine sides to get a bye to this stage, while the Robins defeated Aylesbury in their First-Round fixture.

For our U23s, it’s another experience.  As well as representing the Royals in the Premier League 2, the Premier League Cup and the Premier League International Cup – mixing with some of the best young talent both here and abroad – our involvement in this local competition gives our youngsters a chance to pit their wits against open-age footballers who know all about what it takes to get results!

Tickets are due to be priced at £5 for Adults, £3 for Concessions and £1 for Under-16s.

Please note that this game will be ALL-TICKET.  Reading supporters should contact Ricky Simons at Bracknell Town to arrange tickets for this game by emailing
