Royals striker Marc McNulty was back at school last week as he attended an Open Evening at the Forest School last Thursday.
Reading Football Club has enjoyed a longstanding relationship with the all boys comprehensive school, with a number of our younger Academy players attending The Forest to study for their GCSE qualifications in parallel with progressing their football careers as a Royal.
The evening itself offered potential students and their parents the chance to meet teaching staff and current pupils at The Forest and, as a club, we have supported the event for a number of seasons - Simon Church, Jem Karacan and Jake Cooper some of our former Academy graduates to visit, Tyler Frost and Gabriel Osho a couple of our current crop to have dropped by in previous seasons.
Marc was a fantastic ambassador for the club, staying behind after class to speak with prospective parents and pupils as well as the teachers to better understand how the school operates whilst offering an insight into the daily schedule of a professional footballer.
He posed for photos and signed autographs as he mingled with all in attendence in the sports hall on a very successful evening for the school.
