Osho stars and Ade scores as loanees impress on debut

Academy duo kick start loan stints in best possible manner...

8 October 2018

Only hours after sealing loan switches to the National League, Ade Shokunbi and Gabe Osho both starred for their sides to kick-off their stints with comprehensive wins.

Our Under-23s captain Osho started for the Aldershot Town, kicking off an initial one-month loan with a clean sheet and a man of the match-winning display at the back.

Goals from Adam May, Adam McDonnell and Jake Gallagher earned Gary Waddock’s side three vital points in a rain-soaked encounter against Halifax Town, with Osho marshalling the back line in the 3-0 victory.

Meanwhile, central midfielder Shokunbi was making his bow for National League South high-flyers Billericay Town and he scored in a thrashing of Whitehawk in the Third Qualifying Round of the FA Cup.

Shokunbi bagged in the 14th minute to score Town's third goal...of nine...as his loan side strolled into the next round of the competition with a 9-1 scoreline.
