#SocialSnapshot: October Internationals

All the action from our players on social media over the international break…

16 October 2018

There’s been plenty happening since the Royals broke-up for the October international break at the start of last week.

Some have been on duty for their nations, whilst others have had time to recharge and get back out on the training pitch in preparation for Millwall this Saturday.

All, though, have been active across Twitter and Instagram in showing us the best of what they’ve been up to!

Firstly, we start with a tweet from Reading FC Women’s defender Molly Bartrip.

She attended an event at the Royal Berkshire Hospital last week on World Mental Health Day and opened up for the first time about anxiety and depression.

Next up, we go to Iran where our most recent Royals recruit Saeid Ezatolahi posted a motivational picture whilst on duty with his country.

Also in action for their country this international break was David Meyler.

Here he is pictured in training for the Republic of Ireland, criticising one of James McClean’s passes…

Elsewhere, Dave Edwards was at the Wales game against Spain on Thursday – only this time he was in the Sky Sports studio rather than out on the pitch.

Edwards also had the chance to cheer on his teammate Chris Gunter, who won his 90th cap for the Welsh National Team.

Here he is up against Chelsea’s Alvaro Morata…

Though there were no games for Andy Yiadom and Ghana due to FIFA imposed cancellations – the lads were in good spirits during a training session.

Royals skipper Paul McShane used his free weekend to visit family back in Ireland. Looks like he got lucky with the weather too!

And finally, we end with a picture of Modou Barrow. He celebrated his 26th birthday on Saturday and is pictured making the most of the milestone with his friends and family.

We hope you had a great birthday, Mo!
