Back on the road for the second time in just a few days… Swansea City is our next port of call and the next opportunity to take three points.
Disappointment was felt by all at a missed opportunity in Birmingham on Tuesday. But the brief turnaround time makes for an instant opportunity to set the record straight.
Tyler Blackett is keen to make sure that the game-plan is executed successfully in South Wales this weekend.
“That’s the thing about this league – you’ll have two or three games within the space of a week,” said the full-back.
“As soon as the one game ends, it’s done and you can’t do anything more about it. You have to focus on the next one and try to put things right next time.
“The fans feel it, and we feel it as well. It is frustrating; we’re the ones out there playing and it’s not a nice feeling when you lose.
“We’re winning one, losing one, which doesn’t make for a good run. So we want a bit of consistency. It’s about doing our own jobs and the best we can to get the right results… we’ll get there.
“It doesn’t matter where we are – we’ll try to win every game, home or away.
“Swansea is another game where we’ll be focused on trying to get three points. We need to focus on our own game, do our jobs. And then hopefully come out with a win.”
