FULL-TIME | Norwich City 2-2 Reading

Andy Rinomhota rescues the most dramatic of points for the Royals with a brilliant strike in the 96th minute. A breathless game and a point that was merited for the sheer effort. Wow.

Double sub, late on - Danny Loader and Sam Baldock replace Lewis Baker and Chris Gunter.

Still hope of adding some late drama, as the fourth official signals for six added minutes.

Pukki off, Klose on for the hosts.

Goal - 2-1 to Norwich.

Heartbreaking for Reading, as skipper Zimmermann completes the turnaround by heading in from a corner.

Goal - 1-1 the score, as Ben Godfrey smashes in from outside the area.

In fairness, a really good strike from range which flew past Martínez in a trice.

Liam Moore goes down - holding his shoulder. Doesn't look good - the skipper might need to be withdrawn. Not ideal for Reading as we look to hold out for a clean sheet.

Mario Vrancic comes on for the Canaries, in place of Jamal Lewis.

Great defending once again by Gunter, who gets over to Pukki in the blink of an eye and blocks his shot from narrow on the left.

And a first switch for the Royals; Mo Barrow has run his socks off, and now Garath McCleary comes on to replace him.

An opportunity on the break as Gunter steals possession on the right, and Yiadom punches a ball forward... Meite tries to slip in Barrow but it's underhit by the tiniest of fractions, which allows a tackle to come in. Still Reading lead with the minutes ticking down.

First change of the game - Todd Cantwell comes off, replaced by Jordan Rhodes.

First real chance of the second half for the Royals... Meite fires just wide!

Ejaria with a lovely ball through for Barrow, who kills it and slots Meite in down the left. Onside but the angle isn't favourable, and he fires across goal and just past the post.

Baker booked - a heavy challenge, where he won the ball cleanly, but the ref dips into his pocket.

Wonderful, wonderful save by Martínez!

Pukki couldn't have asked for a better ball in from the left by Aarons and his bulleted header is tipped over by the Argentine from 6 yards!

Andy Rinomhota getting involved in the heart of midfield.

Norwich have the ball in the net - but the flag had long since been waved for offside. Cantwell was the man who moved to soon and chested into Pukki, before Hernandez finished. Celebrations cut short.

Martínez the first name taken - the home crowd accuse the goalie of time-wasting, and the referee decides to take action by showing the yellow.

A blistering effort by Trybull... Martínez gets the faintest of fingertips to the ball to turn it onto the post, and out for a corner!

The second period is underway - the Royals take a slender lead into the next 45.

HALF-TIME | Norwich City 0-1 Reading

Yakou Meite's goal, just before the half-hour mark, has Reading ahead against the league leaders.

45 important minutes left to play!

An opportunity for Pukki as Aarons flashes a cross in from the right, which Pukki turns on - and just beyond the far post.

Another decent opportunity for Norwich as a cross is blocked and pops up in front of Cantwell - a firm volley is a matter of inches over the bar.

The division's top scorer Teemu Pukki squanders a good chance to get level - McLean drifted to the right byline and sent in a low delivery, which the Finn stabbed past the near post - to the mercy of Reading.

Stiepermann has a chance to level quickly for the Canaries as he strikes first-time from the edge of the area - Martínez with soft hands to take it well.

GOAL! 1-0 to the Royals!

Fantastic opportunism from Barrow to pick off a loose pass and head to the byline... sends in a low delivery to Meite, inside the six-yard box, and he hooks past Tim Krul to give Reading a lead!

A tight offside decision goes against Yakou Meite - it was a direct ball downfield by Gunter which had dissected the centre-halves, but a late flag ruled the striker off.

Chris Gunter nearly nicks the ball away from Tom Trybull in the Norwich box - he wins the ball but the man in yellow gets a quick touch on it, and fortutiously wins a goal-kick. Persistence nearly paid a big dividend for the Reading full-back.

Excellent stop by Emi Martínez, down at his near post! Onel Hernandez drifted inside and lashed hard and low, and it needed a firm pair of palms from the Royals stopper to keep the game goalless.

Meite making his way upfield for the Royals.

Three times within about 90 seconds, Chris Gunter makes excellent defensive headers to snuff out Norwich attacks. No clear sights of goal for either side yet.

Home skipper Zimmermann dumps Meite to the deck near the right byline, but no infringement says the official. Goalless - but an entertaining, high-tempo game so far.

It's been largely the Canaries in possession so far - but a terrific breakaway as Meite and Barrow travel at pace down the right flank. Meite tries to find Ejaria in the six-yard box but it's blocked behind for a corner.
