The Berks & Bucks FA have confirmed that the Senior Cup Final for 2018-19, which will be contested by Reading's Under-23s, will take place on Monday 6th May, 3pm kick-off.
The Final will take place at Bracknell Town's Larges Lane - where the Royals already overcame their Bracknell counterparts in the earlier rounds of the competition.
Due to an ongoing appeal, however, Reading's opponents for this match are yet to be confirmed. A statement from the Berks & Bucks FA read:
"On the 25th April, Berks & Bucks FA received a formal appeal from Marlow FC against the decision to remove them from the competition following a protest over player eligibility in the Semi Final against Slough Town FC. This appeal is due to be considered by an independent County Football Association this week. Depending on the outcome of this appeal, Reading FC will face either Slough Town FC or Marlow FC in the Final."
We will update our supporters on our opponents and ticketing arrangements as soon as they are available, with our youngsters aiming to bring a trophy back to RG2 after a sterling season all round.
