It will be a 450-mile round-trip for the travelling Reading supporters this weekend as we head up to Hull City. Not one for the faint of heart.

That’s closely followed by a 350-mile round journey to Norwich in midweek, and our Easter visit to Bristol City is a relatively short 160 miles. All before our final away day – a gargantuan 550-mile round trip to Middlesbrough.
“The Reading fans have been amazing since I’ve arrived – they make long trips and they are always there,” said Gomes.
“They’re there when we arrive at the stadiums, waiting to welcome us. Our fans are really incredible.
“This is my first experience in England. All my life, this experience will make a big stamp on the way I feel about football. The way that the fans take care and support the team.
“It’s a long journey to Hull – and then we have another long journey up to Norwich on Wednesday. So all the support that the fans can give us will be very important.”
