The wait is almost over. After an excruciating wait over the summer period, the new season is upon us this weekend when we host Sheffield Wednesday.

It’ll be a chance for our fans to see the team back in competitive action again, after a positive end to the previous campaign. And there were reasons to be buoyed from our final pre-season friendly when we met Chelsea in RG2.
New signings could make their league debuts for the Royals, while our young talents will also aim to make their mark on the new campaign from the first whistle.
With manager José Gomes steering the ship, it is first page in the latest chapter of our history.

Matchday Parking Permits are now off sale for this fixture in advance, but parking can still be paid on site on arrival on a first-come first-served basis at the cost of £10. There are also other options off site for our fans including buses and Park & Ride.

Once again, local business Blue Collar will be on site around the ground, serving up delicious street food.
We also have a new concourse menu which will include extra options to buy inside Madejski Stadium itself.

For the 2019-20 season, we are prioritising contactless card payments on kiosks within Madejski Stadium - meaning quicker service for all. There will be only one cash till per kiosk so please ensure you have card payment if possible.
Our new kits will be on sale from 9am on matchday in the Fanstore for the very first time - your chance to get your hands on our new Macron shirts for 2019-20.
A new take on our blue and white hoops, a stylish black and burgundy number for away games our new goalie kit - it's all available to buy this weekend ahead of the game, and up until one hour after full-time.
Please note that it will only be available in store over the weekend, and will be available to buy online from 10am on Monday.
