Reading have been drawn to face Wolves, away from home in the Third Round of this season's Carabao Cup.
The Royals were ball number 8 in Wednesday night's draw at Sincil Bank, following the conclusion of Lincoln City's entertaining clash against Premier League side, Everton, in which the Toffees earned a 4-2 win in Lincolnshire.
An overall youthful Reading side booked their place in the draw with an entertaining 4-2 victory over League Two outfit, Plymouth Argyle at Home Park on Tuesday night, courtesy of braces from Josh Barrett and Yakou Méïté respectively.
Now the Royals will face the Premier League side, who entered the competition at the Third Round stage.
The fixture will take place in the week commencing Monday 23rd September, with the date and ticket details to be confirmed by the club in due course.
