Ex-Reading front-man Simon Church is set to be the guest speaker at our next Network Royals Business Club event, which takes place at Madejski Stadium on Wednesday 14th August.
Network Royals was launched in April, and each of the monthly events has been sold out so far. It’s a chance for business delegates from companies across Reading and the surrounding area to meet and network, as well as listen to keynote speeches.
To date, these fascinating talks have been delivered by Olympian Anna Hemmings MBE, Berkshire-based adaptive athlete Jamie Gane and motor industry business leader Kevin Gaskell.
And now it’s the turn of one of our own to take to the mic, as he makes his pathway into a new career after football.
As a player, Reading fans will know him as a striker who payed 122 matches in Royals colours and netted 24 goals, as well as representing Wales when they reached the semi-final of Euro 2016.
And since a longstanding knee injury retirement from the beautiful game in 2018 at the age of 29, the former Welsh international has set up his own business, Church Investments, which provides professional sportsmen and sportswomen with property investment guidance, helping them achieve financial security into their own retirement.
The networking event gives you the chance to meet with other like-minded businesses from Berkshire and the surrounding areas over a buffet lunch, all to the backdrop of the Madejski Stadium.
