Team news | Boyé starts in only Royals change

Loader replaces Méïté on bench with Ivorian out through injury

21 August 2019

Lucas Boyé starts for the Royals against West Bromwich Albion, coming in for Lucas João in Reading's only change from their 3-0 win over Cardiff City at the weekend.

There is another change on the bench, though, as Danny Loader comes in to replace the injured Yakou Méïté - who is ruled out of Wednesday night's clash with a foot problem.

The midfield triumvirate of Pelé, Ovie Ejaria and John Swift remains unchanged, with Andy Rinomhota available from the bench for Reading.

A defensive line consisting of Liam Moore, Matt Miazga and Michael Morrison will line up once again for the Royals, with Andy Yiadom and Omar Richards on the flanks.

For the hosts, they have firepower up front in the form of Charlie Austin and Grady Diangana, with the latter coming off the bench against Luton at the weekend and scoring twice for the Baggies.
