José Gomes' side to take on the Terriers this afternoon is revealed...

24 August 2019

The Royals take on the Terriers in the second of three away games within the space of six days - and manager José Gomes has travelled with the same squad he took to the Hawthorns in midweek.

There is one change to his eleven - swapping George Pușcaș for Lucas João up front, with the Romanian named on the bench.

The injured Yakou Méïté remains out with a foot injury, while the midfield three and the defensive back line all remain unchanged despite the hectic schedule.

Interim manager Mark Hudson, meanwhile, names former Royals loanee Tommy Elphick in the starting eleven this afternoon.

Huddersfield Town: Grabara; Kongolo, Hogg, Schindler (c), Hadergjonaj, Brown, Chalobah, van La Parra, Pritchard, Diakhaby, Grant.
Subs: Schofield, Bacuna, Elphick, Mbenza, Koroma, Campbell, O'Brien.

Reading: Rafael, Yiadom, Moore (c), Miazga, Morrison, Richards, Pelé, Ejaria, Swift, Joao, Boyé.
Subs: Virgínia, Rinomhota, Loader, McIntyre, Adam, Pușcaș, Barrett.
