We can today confirm that Blackpool’s visit to Madejski Stadium in the Third Round of this year’s Emirates FA Cup will take place on Saturday 4th January, kicking off at 3.01pm.
Simon Grayson’s side made it to this stage by defeating north-west neighbours Morecambe 4-1 in the First Round, before defeating Maidstone last weekend. The League One side were trailing at the break and looking like they could slip on the proverbial banana skin, but three goals in quick succession in the second half ensured a 3-1 win for the Tangerines and passage to this stage.
And now Blackpool, who are only goal-difference away from a play-off spot as they look to return to the Championship, will provide the opposition as our first home fixture in 2020 in this cup tie.
Admission prices for this fixture are as follows:
|Age category||Advance price
(Until 12pm on matchday)
|Matchday prices for all supporters
(From 12pm on matchday)
|65 & Over||£7||£10|
|17 & Under||£5||£7|
|12 & Under||£3||£5|
In the event of this match resulting in a draw, the replay would take place at Bloomfield Road on Tuesday 14th January (7.45pm), subject to change for TV selection. Blackpool have confirmed that ticket prices and age-bands for our supporters would be identical to those for the fixture at Madejski Stadium.
