And during the holiday season, we appreciate that getting to the Royals’ home using public transport was not due to be as easy as normal –  the fixture switch was set to regrettably cause travel issues for a number of loyal Royals wanting to back the boys on Boxing Day.

Contrary to some reports, that our network of buses covering the Reading area and beyond would not be running on Boxing Day, we can now confirm that a full service will be in operation courtesy of Principal Partner, Casumo.

The projected cost of running the bus services to the stadium on Boxing Day evening were due to be prohibitive for our supporters. However, Casumo have generously stepped in and offered to subsidise the services. So we are delighted to announce that, thanks to Casumo, full Reading Buses and Stagecoach services will be in operation on the normal fare tariff to all fans.

Park and ride from Shinfield Park or Mereoak, hop on the F10 from Sonning Common, the F11 or F12 from Emmer Green and Caversham, the F14 from Henley-on-Thames or the F20 from Newbury.

Reading Buses will help you get here from Norcot (F21), Tilehurst (F22), Theale & Pangbourne (F23), Purley (F24) or Twyford (F30). Or the F31 or F32 will get you here from Woodley while the F33 has Lower Earley covered.

In town? The shuttle bus from the station will take you away from the mayhem of the Boxing Day sales and have you here with a hot chocolate in hand in no time!

And Stagecoach lines will collect all those in Basingstoke, Tadley and Burghfield Common (951), Farnborough, Yateley, Sandhurst and Crowthorne (952), (Wokingham, Emmbrook and Winnersh (953) and Bracknell (954).
