Reading have made two changes from the side that overcame Derby County on Saturday, with John Swift and Pelé coming into the starting line-up, in place of Andy Rinomhota and the absent Sam Baldock.
There's a youthful look to Reading's bench to take on QPR, with Danny Loader and Michael Olise among the substitutes, with Matt Miazga and Jordan Obita both also fit enough for a place on the bench on Boxing Day.
The defence is unchanged from Reading's win over the Rams, with Tyler Blackett and Chris Gunter flanking Michael Morrison and Liam Moore in defence, in front of Rafael in goal.
Swift and Ovie Ejaria are reunited in midfield, with the pair starting together for the first time in a month, with Pelé and Charlie Adam alongside them.
Yakou Méïté and Lucas João are set to lead the line for the Royals on Boxing Day, with Lucas Boyé also available as a substitute.
