Ahead of the game | Bramall Lane battle awaits

A preview of our game against Sheffield United

15 February 2019

Tests don’t come much tougher than an away visit to a promotion-chasing side. That’s what lies ahead this Saturday when we meet Sheffield United.

And they have been pretty formidable at Bramall Lane. A defeat against West Bromwich Albion in mid-December was a rare blip; since then, five games, five wins on home turf in the Championship. With the exception of an FA Cup upset by Barnet.

Sitting third, just three points off the summit, their ambition will be to burst back in to the automatic spots this weekend. Our ambition is to stop them – for our own, equally-important reasons.

We are now unbeaten in four, and win valuable points earned from each of our last two away fixtures. Another result this weekend would keep that tally ticking and bringing us a bit closer to where we want to be.

Tickets will be available to buy from the Away Ticket Office on matchday.
