FULL TIME | Reading 1-1 Rotherham United

Ajayi's late leveller sees the points shared at Madejski Stadium.

Great chance for Rotherham...

The ball comes in from a corner and Newell rifles a shot just wide. A let-off for Reading.

Reading break from a Rotherham free kick and Barrow manages to nab the ball from Rodak in the box - playing across goal but the goalkeeper manages to JUST scramble back in time before Oliveira can get there.

FIVE more minutes to be played here at Madejski Stadium.

Another chance for Reading!

Oliveira gets clear on the right and tees up a ball for Baker in the box, who heads straight at Rodak.

Final substitution for Rotherham, as Richie Towell comes off for Matt Crooks.

Into the final moments of normal time, the result here is anyone's guess.

Double substitution for Reading - as Garath McCleary and Ovie Ejaria make way for Mo Barrow and Callum Harriott.

The resulting corner comes in and Matt Miazga heads wide at the far post. All Reading here.

Two golden chances go begging for Reading!

McCleary forces a save from Rodak and Oliveira sees his shot blocked on the line, before Ejaria makes Rodak dive at full stretch to his right to save again.

Rotherham have their tails up now, with Towell lifting in another ball and Emi Martínez rises highest to claim.

Goal. Semi Ajayi levels it up for Rotherham.

The ball is lofted into the area, headed down into the path of Ajayi, who bundles in from a matter of inches.

Good move from the Royals...

Andy Yiadom wins the ball high up the pitch and plays to Swift, who lets it run for McCleary - getting a shot on target and forcing Rodak into a low save to his left.

First substitution of the day for the Royals, as John O'Shea comes on for Yakou Méïté. Ejaria moves to the wing as O'Shea settles at the base of midfield.

Great effort, Ovie!

Ejaria wins the ball in midfield and drives on past two Rotherham players, getting a shot away just wide of goal.

Second substitution for Rotherham, as Michael Ihiekwe makes way for Joe Newell.

Rotherham get forward again, with Smith trying to get on the end of Towell's cross but poking well wide of goal.

Still a long way to go here at Madejski Stadium, with Ovie Ejaria's first-half strike giving Reading a narrow lead.

Almost straight after coming on, Williams goes into the book for a late foul on Oliveira in midfield.

First change for Rotherham, as Ryan Williams comes on for Jon Taylor.

Rotherham get forward as Towell makes a run in behind. He plays low to Smith in the area, with Matt Miazga able to scramble clear.

John Swift sees yellow for a foul on Richie Towell, with play halted so the Rotherham man can receive treatment.

Oliveira does brilliantly to wriggle away from his man in midfield and set McCleary off on the left. The Reading wideman does well to hold it up, laying off to Swift, who bends an effort over the goalkeeper and narrowly wide.

First yellow card of the day goes to Joe Mattock, for a cynical foul on Yakou Méïté in midfield.

Vital block, Liam Moore!

Rotherham get an early free-kick that is swung into the area, headed out by Blackett into the path of Towell - who fires venomously at goal, but the Reading skipper puts his body on the line to block.

We're back underway at Madejski Stadium - the Royals shooting towards the Eamonn Dolan Stand in the second half.

HALF TIME | Reading 1-0 Rotherham United

Ovie Ejaria's strike on the half-hour mark has the Royals ahead at the break. 45 to go!

Two added minutes to be played...

Time ticking on here and Reading look content to hold onto the ball as much as possible, with Rotherham still set up to frustrate.

Reading keeping up the pressure as Nélson Oliveira finds space on the edge of the area, firing low and not troubling Rodak in the Rotherham goal.

What a move, what a goal!

A total of nine Reading players involved as the ball makes its way up the pitch, Garath McCleary cuts back and Ejaria loops a deft finish into the top corner! URRRZZZ!

Almost half an hour played and the match is still yet to find a rhythm, with Rotherham playing long where possible and trying to interrupt Reading's flow.

A free-kick from Swift is played deep towards the far post, Liam Moore tries to make it but it's cut out at the last for a corner.

The match is on a knife-edge as it stands, with neither side able to assert influence going forward thus far.

No chances of real quality as yet, and the game is currently being held up after Anthony Forde has taken an awkward fall for Rotherham.

Goalless as it stands.

Good work goes unrewarded for the Royals...

They break out quickly from the back and Yakou Méïté makes tracks on the right. He cuts back to Swift 20 yards from goal, bending a strike narrowly over the woodwork.

First real spell of pressure from the visitors.

Smith cuts in a low cross into the area - Anthony Forde fresh-airs his shot and it comes back in, with Emi Martínez at full stretch to parry clear.

The corner comes in low from the Millers, with skipper and top scorer, Will Vaulks poking wide.

First long throw comes in from the right for Rotherham, half cleared and Jon Taylor strikes over the bar - deflected by a Reading leg for a corner.

And we're off!
