Women draw Red Devils in Quarter-Final

Royals get home clash against Manchester United in FA Cup last eight

19 February 2019

Reading FC Women have been drawn at home to Manchester United in the Quarter-Final of this season's SSE Women's FA Cup.

The tie is due to take place at Adams Park on Sunday 17th March, kicking off at 2pm.

Alongside our first team and Under-23s, the Women's side will be the third different Reading squad to be drawn against the Red Devils in cup competition this season.

The Royals are going to take on a United side that sit second in the Women's Championship - five points off leaders Tottenham with two games in hand, in their first season entered in the Women's Super League structure.

Reading booked their place in the last eight of the cup with a late winner from Rakel Hönnudóttir earning a 2-1 win over Birmingham City at Adams Park at the weekend.

United, meanwhile, have progressed in the competition thanks to a comfortable 3-0 win over London Bees at the weekend, following on from another win and clean sheet against Brighton & Hove Albion in the Fourth Round.

The usual ticket prices for Reading FC Women will apply for this fixture; they will be available to buy online in advance by clicking here.

If you want to see our Women's team in action, head down to Madejski Stadium on Wednesday night as they take on West Ham United in the WSL1 (7.30pm kick-off).
