Team news | First start for Baker at Pride Park

One change after Forest win

19 January 2019

Manager José Gomes hands recent arrival Lewis Baker his first start in a Royals shirt for our fixture against Derby County, following his substitute appearance in our win against Nottingham Forest last weekend.

That is the only amendment to the starting XI – and possibly a change in shape – with Omar Richards occupying a seat on the bench.

For the home side, former Reading midfielder George Evans is available to play from the bench.

Derby County: Roos, Tomori, Keogh (c), Wilson, Mount, Waghorn, Marriott, Holmes, Bogle, Huddlestone, Malone.
Subs: Mitchell, Evans, Bennett, Nugent, Bird, Buchanan, Wilson.

Reading: Jaakkola, Yiadom, Ilori, Moore (c), Rinomhota, Bacuna, Ejaria, Baker, Swift, Barrow, Böðvarsson.
Subs: Walker, Gunter, Blackett, Richards, Aluko, McCleary Loader.
