Unveiled | Our home and away kits for 2019-20

New supplier, new sponsor, new season, new challenge!

25 July 2019

It is here.

Today we unveil our new home and away kits ahead of the start of the 2019-20 season. Take a look.

It will come as no surprise that the home strip consists of our iconic blue and white hoops, with red trim added to the bottom of the sleeves and the shirt itself. It will be complemented with blue shorts and blue socks which bear the crown from our crest on the calf.

The away strip this season is a slick all black and burgundy design, taking inspiration from the crown-themed mosaic pattern which forms part of the club’s brand identity, while our goalkeepers kit is all green - with all orange or all yellow options as second and third strips available to our first-team stoppers in 2019-20.

Yakou Méïté, Jordan Obita and Tom McIntyre were joined by fellow first team stars Fara Williams, Lauren Bruton and Remi Allen for an exclusive kit-launch photoshoot earlier this week and footage and further imagery from the shoot will be released across our social media channels and on the official club website in the coming days.

All this season’s kits bear the ‘hero’ logo of our new Official Technical Partner, Macron. This is the first design presented to our fans by our Bologna-based suppliers who are set to produce kit and training wear for our men’s, women’s and Academy teams until the summer of 2022.

The men’s first team kit will also carry the branding of our new Principal Partner, Casumo, for the first time. And this season our women’s team will play in shirts with the logo of their new commercial partner, YLD, emblazoned on the front.

Our brand-new home strip will first be worn when José Gomes’ side take on Chelsea at Madejski Stadium this Sunday, kick-off 3pm. The away strip, however, is expected to receive its first outing at Adams Park when we take on Wycombe Wanderers in the Carabao Cup on Tuesday 13th August, kick-off 7.45pm

All kit will go on general sale online and in our new-look Fanstore on the morning of our Championship curtain-raiser, when we kick off our campaign against Sheffield Wednesday at Madejski Stadium on Saturday 3rd August, 3pm.
