Jamie Gane, a local 25-year-old adaptive athlete from Basingstoke, will be heading to Madejski Stadium to speak at the next Network Royals Business Club networking lunch, which takes place on Wednesday 19th June, 12.00pm-2.30pm.

After developing a chronic pain condition, Jamie made the difficult decision to undergo a below-knee amputation in September 2016 - but didn’t let that limit him.

Now, ranked second in the world for judo in the special needs/adaptive category, he also competes on one leg against those without physical disabilities.

Not only that, he is also a Tough Mudder Ambassador, who completed 35 Tough Mudder courses in 2018, alongside three competitive eight-hour endurance races and the 24-hour World's Toughest Mudder in America.

Jamie shares a story of perseverance and following your dreams, inspiring others as he seeks to challenge stereotypes and show people what they are able to achieve.

The Network Royals Business Club continues to go from strength to strength, having had sold-out attendances at its first two business lunches.

The event gives you the chance to network with other like-minded businesses from Berkshire and the surrounding areas over a buffet lunch, all to the backdrop of Madejski Stadium.
