FULL TIME: Reading 0-3 Leeds United

The visitors were in total control after three first half goals. Reading never gave up and had chances, but it was not our night.

McCleary takes aim from 25 yards and Casilla uncomfotably punches his swerving shot clear of danger.

Harriot delivers a set piece into the Leeds area and it falls to the feet of Miazga.

The centre-back slams a shot goalwards but it is charged down by a Leeds body.

Harrison jinks his way into a shooting position and forces a fine save from Martinez. The ball ricochets to a Leeds man but he snatches at his shot and spoons it over the bar.

Leeds playing 'keep ball' now and doing it well.

McCleary is on for Loader.

Reading looking a little ragged now and Bamford has another opportunity to score a fourth, but he places his shot past Martinez and wide of the right post.

Bamford is in acres and not offside. He takes a touch to stride into ther area but completely mis-hits his shot and it goes out for a throw on the left.

Bamford then misses his kick moments later to spurn a good opportunity in the middle of the Royals box.

Barry Douglas is on for Marcelo Bielsa's men.

What a ball from Harriott - he whips it into the middle from the left and Loader can't quite get enough on his header to direct it goalwards.

Barrow is off and another Academy debutant is on in his place.

Michael Olise becomes graduate no.51!

Roberts is replaced by Jamie Sackleton.

A great chance to pull one back! But a great save.

Blackett dinks a lovely cross into the box where Yiadom rises but Casilla palms it over his crossbaer instinctively.

A good dart forward from Yiadom who finds some space to run into down the right. But his cross is gathered in by the Leeds keeper.

Debutant East is coming off and Callum Harriott is on in his place.

Baker drives forward and cuts onto his left foot to shoot. But it doesn't have the power to trouble Casilla.

Ayling is substituted moments later. Stuart Dallas is on in his place.

Ayling is late on a challenge on Barrow and the Royals winger goes tumbling. The Leeds man is already on a yellow but gets away without further punishment.

Another good attack from the Royals, down the right through Meite.

His cross is cut out but deflects back to him. He can't find a teammate though and the chance fizzles out.

Half a chance. Loader is given the ball and he turns and scurries towards the Leeds box. He tried to feed East who is arriving alongside him, but the pass is overhit and Leeds win it back.

The second half is underway...

HALF TIME: Reading 0-3 Leeds United

The promotion-chasers have been too good for the Royals in the first half, excellent in their movement and clinical in their finishing.

The ball is played into Yiadom in the area and he chests it down but loses the battle for the loose ball and is penalised for a foul.

Hernandez has his second of the night and it's another wonderful strike. It flies past Martinez and inside the left post.

Two good chances for the home side on the break.

Meite beats his man down the left but can't find an open Barrow in the middle as his low pass is cut out.

Then Blackett feeds the ball into Meite on the edge of the area, but his turn and shot is scuffed into the keeper's arms.

Ayling is booked for a late challenge.

Meite wins the ball in midfield and feeds Barrow who runs at Jansson.

The Royals wide man has the pace to beat his man but the Leeds defender does enough to barge Barrow off the ball.

Martinez is down well to get behind a shot from Bamford from the edge of the box. Leeds are in total control at the moment.

Nearly another. United are looking to kill this game off and nearly do with a right-footed drive that flashes just wide of the left upright.

Leeds double their lead.

Reading fail to clear their lines and a sizzling low drive from Hernandez beats Martinez, comes off the inside of the base of the right post and goes over the line. 0-2.

Better from the Royals.

East snaps into a tackle to win the ball back, Barrow floats an early cross towards Meite who so nearly brings it down. Corner though.

Chance! Almost an immediate reply from the Royals.

Meite is played in behind down the left and his low cross almost reaches Loader in the six yard box - but Casilla cuts it out before it can get to the young forward.

Leeds have the lead.

Barrow tracked his man well but couldn't clear the ball and a cut back to Klich, a good dummy along the way, and Bielsa's men are 1-0 up.

What a turn from Yiadom!

He is fed by Barrow inside the Leeds box and the Royals' right-back turns his man brilliantly. The angle is too narrow though and his shot is charged down.

Tyler Roberts goes into the book for a late challenge on Swift in midfield.

Nice move from the Royals. Starts on the left and works we work the ball inside to Barrow who skips past one man on the edge of the box, but can't get past the second to get a shot away.

East makes his mark early by winning a 50:50 tackle in midfield against Bamford.

Loader has started as the spearhead of the Royals attack with Meite out on the right wing.

And we're off!
