The Latics twice took the lead at Madejski Stadium, either side of a superb free-kick by John Swift. Barrow then struck in the 89th minute from 25 yards to level proceedings, before Yakou Méïté headed home in the 97th minute to finish off a famous Madejski Stadium afternoon.
“It wasn’t the best game like the way we want to play, but the fighting spirit was there, the character and the belief," Mo explained afterwards.
“Like I said after the Ipswich game, we know that we have the qualities to come back into the games and today, everybody showed it again. It’s like I’m still dreaming.
“At the moment, the most important thing is to pick up three points. I’m happy for the team, happy for Yak – he scored a great winner today.
“I’m happy for the club too because they did fantastically today, I hope we can keep this atmosphere going until the end.
“I had so much time when I received the ball and turned, all I was thinking was to shoot. The manager always tells me to shoot, it was the right moment, so I just shot, hoped for the best and it was a good strike!
“We believe that we can win the game, we showed it in this game today and we kept on fighting until the end.
“I’m so proud of the boys, the whole team, the staff and the fans. Hopefully they can keep cheering like this and we can keep fighting in the last games.
“The fans made us believe in the last game, and today they made us believe we can do it. They pushed with us, there’s nothing more we can ask from them.
“We’re proud of them and we want to thank them for the support they gave us today.”
