On Tuesday, clubs across the country used the #EFLDayOfAction to showcase some of the work they get involved in and host extra events.
We did the same. Omar Richards attended a session with students on our Traineeship and Reading College programmes, while we also told the story of coach Dan Walker, who rose from being attendee at our Kicks programme to running the courses as a full-time Community Trust coach.
But more goes on every single day, which doesn’t always get into the limelight. 365 days a year, our Community Trust makes a difference to thousands of lives in Reading, Berkshire and the broader Thames Valley area.
That’s why our Community Trust’s Twitter account (@RFCCommunity) decided to run a #EFLDayintheLife – it was a way of shining a light on the breadth of things that we get involved in across the pillars of health, education, social inclusion and sports participation.
Take a look below at a social round-up from the day itself.
