After voting in your thousands, you have decided that Andy Rinomhota is your 2018-19 Reading Fans' Player of the Season.
Having earned more than a quarter of your votes, Rinomhota joins an illustrious group as he becomes the fifth Academy graduate to win our Player of the Season prize - following Gylfi Sigurðsson, Shane Long, Alex Pearce and Jordan Obita in doing so.
The vote, run by the club in conjunction with Supporters' Trust At Reading, saw your top three choices dominate the polls - with around two-thirds of the votes cast split between Rinomhota, Andy Yiadom and Yakou Méïté.
One of the latest in a long line of exceptional Academy talents to pave their way into the first team, Rinomhota has gone from strength to strength since making his league debut back in September.
Having been introduced as a substitute in that win against Preston, the midfielder made fireworks of his own when he put in a Man of the Match performance in his maiden league start for the club on Bonfire weekend against Bristol City.
An integral cog in the Royals' midfield this season, the 21-year-old has been a mainstay on the team sheet throughout.
Having been sidelined due to an ankle injury in early February, Rinomhota returned to the pitch for the run-in and scored an all-important debut goal away at Carrow Road to earn Jose Gomes’ men a point against runaway league leaders Norwich.
He is a calm and composed presence on the ball, who doesn’t shy away from the big occasions. Starting an FA Cup clash in the midfield away at the Theatre of Dreams, he didn’t look out of place when surrounded by world-class talent at the home of Manchester United.
He signed a new three-year-deal with the club in February as he looks to further cement his place within the Royals’ future plans.
Evidently a fan favourite for many, his attitude towards matches this season has resonated with everyone involved with the club, and is testament to the fighting spirit and tenacity of the players and manager to finish the right side of the dotted line.
1st: Andy Rinomhota (27.3%)

5th: Liam Moore (7.1%)
Congratulations to Andy on winning our prestigious award and for a fantastic season on the pitch. We extend our thanks to STAR for their work in running and calculating the paper tally, and to all of our supporters who cast their vote.
From our Academy, Michael Olise has been named as the club's Scholar of the Year for 2018-19. The fleet-footed midfielder, who is still a first-year Scholar at the club, made his first team debut after coming off the bench to take on Leeds United back in March.
He has made fantastic progress this season, and is the only player this season to have played matches for our first team, Under-23s and Under-18s.
Congratulations to Michael on his superb season of development. We look forward to seeing him continue his progress next season.
