After an impressive breakthrough season for the Academy graduate, Danny Loader has also had success on the Premier League 2 scene, and has been nominated for the PL2 Player of the Season award.
The England U19 international striker has certainly proven his worth in the first team this season, making 22 appearances and netting a debut senior goal in the process – scoring in spectacular fashion during an away trip to the Riverside at the end of April.
These performances aren’t without a solid foundation, Loader notched 15 goals in 15 appearances for our PL2 outfit this season.
He scored two or more goals on six occasions, including a hat-trick against Manchester United in the Premier League International Cup quarter-final back in February.
