Yakou Méïté has earned himself the Reading FC Vice Presidents' Player of the Season award for 2018-19, after a superb season in blue and white.
The attacker adds this award to his mantlepiece after earning 3rd place in the vote for Fans' Player of the Season, behind Andy Yiadom and eventual winner, Andy Rinomhota.
Not only that, the Ivorian also scooped the club's Golden Boot for the season, with his 13 goals seeing him top the Royals' goalscoring charts for the 2018-19 campaign.
The 23-year-old was presented with his award by the Vice Presidents after Sunday's match against Birmingham, in which he had spent some time in Club 1871 mixing with the supporters who have been chanting his name all season.
A run of six goals in five games in the autumn set Méïté up to become one of Reading's most important players this season, with his work-rate, strength and likeable personality endearing him to Royals supporters everywhere.
Congratulations to Yakou on winning this esteemed prize, and for his vitally important contribution to the Royals this season.
