Seven points out of a possible nine, and two in two for Sam Baldock, but he insists the Royals want more points and goals before the international break.
Luton Town are the visitors to RG2 this weekend, with the Royals aiming for a strong finish to this section of the season; before the team disperses on the international break.
The forward who has featured in every game of Mark Bowen's reign is keen to reiterate the importance of knuckling down and doing what they do best.
“It’s gone well, it’s always nice off the back of a positive result," Baldock said. "We are knuckling down hard and learning all about Luton.
“Everyone is pleased with the points we’ve got, but we are all focussed on the next game and getting more points. We are not content with the league position we are in, so we want to get more points on Saturday and go into the break in a healthier position
“It’s been a frustrating start to the season. I’m glad the manager has come in and shown some faith in me. Hopefully, I have rewarded him and there is more to come.
“I feel like we are creating a lot of chances, so as a striker that’s pleasing, and hopefully I’ll get a few more on Saturday.
“They are a team that will fight for every point in this division. They are a strong side, they will be full of energy and looking to come to our place and upset us.
“Millwall is gone now, so it will be more of the same," Sam continued. "More of doing what we do best, getting in the other team’s faces and creating a lot of chances.
