Two goals in the last moments of the game and a John Swift strike occupy the goal of the month for September - Vote now!
September consisted of three league games and one Carabao Cup clash - one home and three away. Now is your chance to nominate the goal of the month from the three goals scored.
The one and only home game of the month got the Royals' goalscoring underway, Yiadom provided the impetus and a ball cut back to Ejaria saw the midfielder shoot but his effort was charged down. It fell back to John Swift on the edge of the box who picked out the bottom corner brilliantly to make it 1-2.
Carabao Cup action saw the Royals travel to the Molineux, home of the Premier League outfit, Wolverhampton Wanderers. A 99th-minute equaliser starting with Barrett's cross-field ball to Rinomhota, Swift receiving on the run and provided a masterclass pass to Boyé, who headed in via the underside of the crossbar.
To draw a close on September was an arduous journey across the M4 to the Liberty Stadium to play in-form Swansea. On the stroke of 90 minutes, Lucas João's hold-up play allowed him to slip the ball through to the right of the box, where Andy Yiadom was there to strike it sweetly first time into the far corner.
- GOAL A: John Swift vs Blackburn Rovers (21st September)
- GOAL B: Lucas Boye vs Wolverhampton Wanderers (25th September)
- GOAL C: Andy Yiadom vs Swansea City (28th September)
