The date of our rearranged game away at Nottingham Forest has been set as Tuesday 21st January 2020, kicking off at 7.45pm at the City Ground.
Our game was scheduled to take place last Saturday, but a heavy downpour in the Midlands rendered the pitch unplayable when the referees inspected the surface at midday.
And now we face a floodlit trip to Nottingham in the new year.
The new date is just 10 days after Forest visit us at home in RG2 – we play host at Madejski Stadium on Saturday 11th January in our first home match of 2020.
Supporters who had tickets for the original scheduled fixture last Saturday are advised that these tickets will be valid for the rearranged match in January.
Any ticket-holding supporters who are not able to attend the rearranged game are advised to contact our Ticket Office as soon as possible to arrange a refund, either by visiting in person during our opening hours or by ringing 0118 968 1313. To obtain a refund, the physical ticket will have to be returned to Reading FC (via our Fanstore on non-matchdays or our Ticket Office on home matchdays), or via post.
New tickets for the rearranged fixture will go on sale a few weeks in advance of the game.
We are also pleased to announce that club owner Mr Dai Yongge will once again be putting on free coach travel for STAR members for the rearranged fixture. As usual, you will need to book your place no later than two weeks before the fixture. To book STAR travel for future games, or for more information, please visit https://star-reading.org/travel
