October half-term can always be tough to sort plans, but our Community Trust's Soccer School is always a go-to for guaranteed fun and activities.
But when first team players pay a little visit to the sessions, it gives a little extra experience for all the kids and players. And that was the case this week when Royals midfielder John Swift came down for some of the afternoon, answering some burning questions and getting some pictures with the participants.
When asked about the day, Swift said: "It's a good experience coming down and seeing the youngsters playing altogether, having a little chat with them and letting them ask some questions they might want to ask.
And when asked if he was doing something similar to soccer schools when he was that age, he replied: "I was always playing football, in after-school training or with friends down a local park. It's great what everyone is doing here and you can tell the kids really like it as well."
