Yiadom keen to reproduce the team effort and togetherness shown at Swansea

Defender looks on to tonight’s clash vs Fulham

1 October 2019

October begins with a visit from Fulham in the first midweek home fixture of the season - their first visit to RG2 since relegation from the Premier League.

Full-back Andy Yiadom knows the importance of consistency, in particular with the run of the games upcoming for the Royals.

“It’s all about picking up points consecutively, and we got ourselves a point away at Swansea,” he explained.

“We’re at home next so hopefully we can build on that and pick up the three points.

“We’ve got a lot of quality in the side, and if we produce what we produced in the second half against Swansea straight away then I’m sure we’ll be okay.”

The second-half at the Liberty Stadium saw a major improvement in every aspect, which was rewarded by a 90th-minute equaliser from Yiadom.

“It’s all about team effort and togetherness and we showed that completely in the second half.”

The Royals host Fulham this evening here at Madejski Stadium, kick-off at 8pm.
