Reading could count themselves unlucky not to find their way into the hat for the Fourth Round of the Carabao Cup - the Royals forced penalties but were undone in the shoot-out by hosts Wolverhampton Wanderers.
It was a fantastic goal by Lucas Boyé, heading in from John Swift's rabona cross, which levelled the match in the ninth minute of added time. Bruno Jordao had struck Wolves ahead in the first half, and the Royals' attacking prowess finally paid off late in the day.
Sadly, the campaign ended at Molineux for Reading as the hosts converted their spot-kicks perfectly, while the goalscoring combo of Swift and Boyé were both unable to tuck theirs away for Reading.
Take a look at our extended footage from Molineux as the Royals matched their Premier League hosts every step of the way.
