See the next generation of Royals on Monday night

2 September 2019

At a loose end in the international break? Fear not, football continues at Madejski Stadium on Monday evening as Scott Marshall's Reading Under-23s take on their West Brom counterparts.

Reading U23 vs West Bromwich Albion U23
Premier League 2, Division 2

Madejski Stadium
Monday 2nd September
7pm kick-off
Free entry for all supporters

It's a chance to watch the Royals of the future on Monday night, as our Under-23s continue their Premier League 2 campaign under the lights at Madejski Stadium.

With 11 of the matchday 18 against Plymouth Argyle last week coming out of our Academy, it is a chance for Reading supporters to watch players you could be seeing in the first team soon.

It's likely that there will be senior experience among the Reading ranks, though, as Jordan Obita could feature as he continues his recovery from long-term injury.

Several of the Carabao Cup squad could also be involved as they continue their match schedule during the international break, with all supporters welcome at Madejski Stadium.

Marshall's side started the season with a comprehensive 6-0 win over Newcastle United, before being defeated in two tricky away days against Manchester United and West Ham United.

Car parking is free and unreserved at Madejski Stadium this evening, with entry through Gate 4. The West Stand concourse will be open for refreshments, and entry is free to watch this Premier League 2 clash on Monday evening.
