Scott Marshall's Under-23s have been drawn against Swansea City, Charlton Athletic and Colchester United in Group A of the Premier League Cup this season.
Our young side will play each team once in Group A and the competition will kick off for us with a home tie against Colchester - a side we beat 3-1 and 5-1 in home and away games in the group stages of the same competition last season.
We will then travel to Charlton the following month before going away to Swansea before Christmas. Reverse ties will take place at the start of 2020.
The Royals qualified from their group at a canter in 2018-19, reaching the quarter-finals by qualifying from a group which included Colchester, Fulham and Birmingham City.
We were eventually eliminated by Newcastle United in the knockout stages - the Magpies scoring either side of a well-taken free-kick from Josh Barrett to earn a 2-1 win in Woking.
On Monday night, our Under-23s took on West Bromwich Albion under the lights at the Madejski and came from behind to earn a Premier League 2 win.
Dates and venues for these matches will be confirmed in due course, with the first round of fixtures set to take place around the beginning of October.
