The unrelenting nature of the season sees Reading roll on to another encounter on Wednesday night, and tests in the Sky Bet Championship don't come much tougher than this...
Reading vs West Bromwich Albion
Sky Bet Championship
Wednesday 12th February 2020
Slaven Bilić and his West Bromwich Albion side moved four points clear at the top of the table after a hard-fought 2-0 win over in-form Millwall at the weekend, in difficult conditions at The Den.
This has seen them open up a gap over fellow automatic promotion hopefuls, Leeds United, and the Baggies will hope to add to their run against the Royals on Wednesday night to try and put further daylight between themselves and the chasing pack.
Several former Royals will return to Madejski Stadium on Wednesday night as well, with Hal Robson-Kanu hoping to lead the line for the Baggies, alongside goalkeepers, Ali Al-Habsi and Jonathan Bond, who are also on West Brom's books.
Mark Bowen has stressed the need for the Royals to get back to winning ways and turning one point into three, with a run of consecutive draws keeping Reading's points total ticking over in the Sky Bet Championship.
In terms of team news, full-backs Chris Gunter and Jordan Obita will be monitored after both had to be withdrawn with injuries against Hull on Saturday, while Andy Yiadom may hope to return to the first team fold after playing more than an hour with our Under-23s against Swansea on Saturday.
