Yakou Méïté believes the Royals were good value for their point against Cardiff City on Friday night, with Reading earning a 1-1 draw on the night.
In a coincidence from the teams' FA Cup tie last weekend, Méïté opened the scoring again in the same minute as he did at Madejski Stadium on Saturday, with a powerful header that escaped the grasp of Alex Smithies.
The hosts, who have lost just once at home all season, struck back in the second half through Callum Paterson, with the points shared on the night.
“It was a tough game against a tough team," said the forward after the match.
"At the end, we’re a bit upset because we didn’t get the win, but I think it’s a good point away from home and we’ll take it.
"The goal was from good play, I was in the box, I put my head towards the goal and I'm happy.
"I have to keep going for the team, and score. I'm still confident, I know what I can do on the pitch, and I'll try to score as many goals as I can.
"They put a lot of balls in the box, so we had to defend well and focus until the end.
"I think we did it, even if we didn't win at the end. It was difficult, but we were solid until the end. It's a good draw."
