Paul Cook's side earned a hard-fought 1-0 win against Millwall at the weekend, extending their current run to just one loss in six ahead of their encounter against the Royals at Madejski Stadium.

The Latics are now within touching distance of clawing themselves out of the bottom three in the Sky Bet Championship, which Moore says will only add motivation to Wednesday's visitors.

"It's a big, big game. They can't be underestimated," the Reading skipper stated emphatically after the final whistle in Leeds at the weekend.

"We know the situation they're in, we lost on Saturday so we need to win in midweek.

"It'll be a really tough game again. They're fighting for their lives, we know exactly how that feels, so we need to be ready.

"We can't take our foot off the pedal, we do need to kick on.

"We cannot be shocked by anything on Wednesday night. They're going to come at us, they're going to be fired up and we need to be the same because it's a game that we need to win.

"Three home games in a row is brilliant - we'll take them game by game. It's a lot of football to be looking forward to at the Mad Stad and we're aiming for three wins.
