Mark Bowen has made three changes from the Reading side that took on West Bromwich Albion in midweek, with Academy graduates Andy Rinomhota, Michael Olise and Omar Richards coming into the Royals' starting line-up at Sheffield Wednesday.
The young Royals come into the line-up in place of Jordan Obita, Felipe Araruna and Pelé, with the latter missing out at Hillsborough through injury.
January signing, Ayub Masika is involved in the matchday squad for the first time in a Reading shirt, and appears among the substitutes on Saturday afternoon.
Richards will slot in place for Obita in the only change in the Reading defence, with Andy Yiadom starting once more after coming back into the starting line-up against West Bromwich Albion on Wednesday night.
George Pușcaș will continue to lead the line up front for the Royals after his goal in midweek, with Yakou Méïté also starting for Reading on Saturday - with Sam Baldock available from the bench at Hillsborough.
Among the subs, Gabriel Osho comes into the matchday squad for Reading, and Charlie Adam is also available if required from the subs' bench.
